What is the User Showcase?
Have you developed a web application that you want to advertise to others? How about a program you wrote and want to distribute or show some screenshots? Are you working on projects you want to tell others about? This is the place for you.
There's a lot of great work going on in our community. The User Showcase allows Delgeotech members to show off their stuff. Each member may create their own page. Only the page creator (and, of course, DelGeotech administrators) may edit the page. This means that you have the ability and are responsible for maintaining your page.
A quick note...you may be thinking that blogs is the better way to go for this type of information. You are right. Blogs are great for project updates, distributing some code or program you wrote, and for many other purposes. However, blogs are usually meant for short items to start discussions where users can reply. User Showcase pages may be as long as you like, you may enable or disable comments, and is a convenient way for others to find your work from any page on the DelGeotech site.
