Geo Viewers
A "GIS Viewer" is generally defined as software that only can perform basic operations on geospatial data, such as map display, navigation, symbology, and basic querying of attributes. Viewers cannot perform most spatial analytical operations, data creation and editing, statistical procedures, and other similar tasks.
Most viewers are free (freeware) and some may carry a small cost (shareware), depending upon functionality. A quick search on the web reveals many sites that list GIS software. This page only lists the more popular viewers. Obviously, we do not provide support for these products. For help, you should search the manufacturer's website, various other GIS websites, or you can try submitting to one of our forums.
